The Villa

Inside

During the restoration of this historic building the owners of Casa Parrocchia paid careful attention to the original features and details to create this fine home.

There are original wall paintings which were found in the restoration which have been preserved, in part a traditional stone sink and the original arches of the corridor lead you up the stone staircase to the first and second floors.

The downstairs area consists of a large handmade country kitchen (very well equiped with oven, fridge, freezer, blender, toaster, ice machine, nespresso coffee machine (pods needed for this), dishwasher, 4 ring stove, cooking utensils, hob) with a French door leading out to the garden and a balcony door from where you can access the long balcony alongside the house to enjoy the sunset and the beautiful views to the valley and mountains.

The living room has an open plan dinning area and is fitted with every comfort. The open fireplace invites you to enjoy cosy evenings in the winter months.

There is also a reading area with an extensive library, where you will find books and magazines about the area and its history. There is also an extensive DVD collection for family entainment.

Downstairs is also the first bathroom with shower and the first bedroom.

Following the arches upstairs, there are two more bathrooms, one with a large walk in shower, and the second with a bathtub.

5 remaining bedrooms, two with twin beds and 3 with double beds offer enough space for a large family or group of friends.

There is also a  large formal dinning room (for 10 people) with a open fireplace. This room is mainly used for playing games at the large marble table or to have a relaxed discussion next to the fire.
